ne Event Away From Making Liift Golf History
El Golfluencer Season 1—the pilot project that launched the Liift Golf movement—has delivered everything the TOUR promised: passion, personality, rivalry, and a level of unpredictability that only this group of golfers could produce. After months of competition, traveling across South Florida and beyond, the league enters its final chapter with drama alive in every category.
Old Corkscrew: The Reality Check
Round 9 at Old Corkscrew Golf Club in Naples, Florida proved why it’s considered one of the toughest tests in the state. The course humbled nearly the entire field—27 of 40 players posted their worst scores of the season, including the TOUR’s dominant force, Greg Spelios.
Yet even on an off day, champions rise.
Greg still secured the Gross title for the round, while Edgardo Vengochea delivered one of the season’s great performances, firing a Net 75 to win his category and shake up the leaderboard heading into the finale at Weston Hills.
Gross League: Spelios on the Verge of History
Barring an unprecedented collapse, Greg Spelios is set to become the first-ever Gross Champion of El Golfluencer. His consistency has built a massive 42-stroke cushion over Toño Puche, who continues to battle but likely needs a miracle to catch the leader.
Behind them, a compelling fight for the podium remains.
Danny Diaz sits in third place, but only 5 strokes ahead of Carlos Borda, who is known for striking at the perfect moment. Expect fireworks at the Players Course as both chase a season-ending medal.

Net League: A Thriller to the Final Hole
If the Gross League seems almost decided, the Net League is the complete opposite. Drama is unavoidable.
- Greg Spelios leads—but by just 1 stroke.
- Guillermo Llerandi is right on his heels, ready to take advantage of any stumble.
- Edgardo Vengochea, fresh off his Old Corkscrew heroics, sits 6 points back, still in third but with Sebastian Juncandella only 5 strokes behind him.
Four players. One round. One Net Champion.
This is exactly what the Liift format was designed for.
Team Competition: Still Anyone’s Game
The TEAM battle has been a storyline of its own, proving how powerful collective play can be.
- Rip It & Grip It (Spelios Team) holds a strong 26-point lead over Fairway Warriors.
- The Pin Seekers, although 5 points back, have built enough margin to feel secure on the podium heading into the finale.
Yet in team golf, margins can evaporate quickly. A strong finish—or a collapse—could change everything.
El Golfluencer and Liift Golf: The Beginning of a New Era
The success of El Golfluencer Season 1 has ignited something larger than a league—it has sparked a movement. Liift Golf confirmed that next season will introduce multiple new formats, more events, and a bold innovation:
The Liift Rankings
For the first time ever, golfers across all Liift leagues will compete for a unified ranking system. Points from El Golfluencer, future leagues, and special events will all feed into one consolidated season, connecting players from multiple regions.
Because Liift is going global.
New Tours Launching:
- Puerto Rico
- Orlando
- Colombia
All three territories will launch their own Liift leagues, creating a network of amateur golfers united under one culture, one format, and one TOUR identity. Major events will soon open entries for top performers across all regions.
Liift will unveil the full format, schedule, and expansion details during the first week of December, setting the stage for Season 2—and for the rise of the Liift Golf ecosystem.
Final Round Ahead: The Players Course, Weston Hills
As El Golfluencer Season 1 prepares for its final swing at The Players Course in Weston Hills, the TOUR has never felt more alive. Championships are on the line, rivalries sharpened, reputations at stake.
The pilot project is about to close its first chapter—
and begin a much bigger story.
Liift Golf is just getting started and El Golfluencer Season 2 will prove it will be one of the most excitings leagues in South Florida.
