Round 2 of El Golfluencer Primera Liga brought intense competition and leaderboard shakeups as players tackled the challenging fairways of Miccosukee Golf Club.
Daniel Rudner continued his strong form, maintaining his lead in the Gross Standings with a two-round total of 161. Not only did Rudner stay on top in gross, but his consistent play also propelled him onto the Net leaderboard, now standing 3rd overall with a combined 151 Net after two rounds.
The biggest leap came from Guillermo Llerandi, who surged to the top of the Net Standings with a total of 145, thanks to a clutch 71 Net in Round 2. His stellar performance pushed early contender Edgardo Vengochea off the podium, despite Vengochea’s standout start in Round 1.
In the team competition, Green Machine climbed to the top of the leaderboard, led by strong rounds from Rudner and teammate Roberto Pardey. Their combined effort gave Green Machine a tournament-best 241 Net Team Score in Round 2, putting them ahead in the overall race.
At the other end of the standings, Birdie Bandits currently sit in last place, but with the team standings separated by only about 30 strokes, the competition remains wide open.
The league now turns its attention to Miami Springs Golf & Country Club for Round 3. Known for its notoriously firm, non-receptive greens, players will need precision and patience as they navigate one of the trickiest courses in the lineup.
Stay tuned as El Golfluencer Primera Liga continues to bring thrilling action and shifting dynamics each round!
