Liift Golf’s El Golfluencer Primera Liga has officially wrapped its inaugural season, delivering exactly what it promised: elite amateur competition, season-long drama, and a format that rewarded both consistency and clutch performance.
Gross Category: A Season of Control
As expected, Greg Spelios cruised to victory in the Gross Championship, asserting dominance from start to finish. Greg closed the season with an impressive 729 total strokes, never relinquishing control of the leaderboard.
He was followed by:
- Tony Puche — 780 strokes
- Daniel Diaz — 785 strokes
The final round at the stunning Weston Hills – Players Course offered a last opportunity for movement on the podium, where Carlos Borda and Juan Ariza needed nothing short of a miracle to break into the top three. The margins were tight, but the season-long performance held firm.
Net Category: A True Nail-Biter

If the Gross division was about control, the Net Championship was pure suspense.
Entering the final round trailing by just one stroke, Guillermo Llerando delivered when it mattered most. His net 75 proved decisive, allowing him to overtake Greg Spelios and secure the Net Championship with a season total of 663, just two strokes ahead of Greg.
The battle for third place was equally dramatic. Sebastian Juncandella managed to lock in the final podium spot, finishing just two strokes ahead of Edgardo Vengochea, whose challenge unraveled on the demanding 16th hole of the Players Course.
